HeyWhiskey is committed to offering high-quality products and excellent customer satisfaction. To ensure confidence in your purchase, we provide a 12-month limited warranty on all eligible products. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, how to make a warranty claim, and the responsibilities of both parties.
1. Warranty Period
All eligible products purchased from HeyWhiskey come with a 12-month limited warranty starting from the date the carrier marks the order as delivered.
During this warranty period, HeyWhiskey will repair, replace, or refund items that meet the warranty conditions described in this policy.
2. What the Warranty Covers
Our 12-month warranty covers defects that arise from:
Manufacturing defects
- Structural defects
- Production errors
- Faulty materials
- Internal component failure
Functional defects
- Product not operating as intended
- Malfunction under normal usage
- Performance degradation not caused by misuse
Defective craftsmanship
- Improper assembly
- Quality control issues
If the issue qualifies under warranty, we will provide:
- A free replacement
- A repair (if applicable)
- A refund (only if repair or replacement is not possible)
3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to issues caused by:
Customer-caused damage
- Drops, impact, or breakage
- Water damage or heat exposure
- Physical misuse
- Improper storage
Normal wear and tear
- Minor scratches
- Fading
- Cosmetic imperfections over time
Unauthorized modifications
- Repairs performed by third parties
- Alterations or custom adjustments
- Opening or disassembling the product
Abuse, negligence, or misused products
- Commercial use (if product is intended for personal use)
- Improper installation or handling
Loss or theft
- Stolen or missing items are not covered
Damage from shipping after delivery
Damage occurring after the carrier confirms delivery is not covered (except for the initial 48-hour damage claim window).
4. Warranty Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for warranty service, the customer must provide:
- Valid proof of purchase (order number, receipt, email confirmation)
- Photo/video evidence of the defect
- A detailed description of the issue
- The product must be within the 12-month warranty period
Warranty claims without proof of purchase may not be accepted.
5. How to File a Warranty Claim
Customers must follow these steps:
Step 1—Contact HeyWhiskey Support

Subject line: “Warranty Claim—Order #(Your Order Number)”
Include:
- Full Name
- Order Number
- Date of Purchase
- Detailed description of the defect
- Photos or videos showing the problem
Step 2—Claim Review & Verification
Our support team will review the claim within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday).
We may request additional details or footage if needed.
Step 3—Claim Approval or Denial
Once evaluated, we will notify you whether the claim:
- Is approved, or
- Requires further inspection, or
- Is denied (with explanation)
Step 4—Return or Inspection (If Required)
In some cases, the defective item must be returned to our warehouse:
- HeyWhiskey will provide a prepaid return label for approved warranty returns
- The customer must package the product securely
- Once received, inspection takes 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday)
Step 5—Warranty Resolution
If your claim is approved, we will provide one of the following solutions:
Replacement
A brand-new replacement product will be shipped for free.
Repair
If repairable, the product will be repaired and returned to you.
Refund
If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued within 5 business days (Monday to Friday).
6. Warranty on Replacement Items
Products replaced under warranty:
- Are covered by the remaining warranty period
- Do not receive a new 12-month warranty
- The warranty timeline continues from original purchase date
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Use the product according to user instructions
- Report defects as soon as they appear
- Provide accurate documentation and proof
- Do not misuse or damage the product intentionally
- Follow packaging guidelines when returning items
Improper actions may void warranty eligibility.
8. HeyWhiskey Responsibilities
HeyWhiskey will:
- Evaluate warranty claims fairly and promptly
- Communicate clearly throughout the process
- Cover shipping costs for approved warranty claims
- Provide repair, replacement, or refund based on issue type
- Maintain transparency regarding warranty eligibility
9. Warranty Exclusions—Special Cases
Products marked as “Final Sale”
Final Sale items may not qualify for warranty unless defective upon arrival.
Free gifts or promotional items
Free items do not come with warranty coverage.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers
Only purchases made directly through:
heywhiskeyshop.com are eligible for warranty service.
10. Items Damaged on Arrival
If your product arrives damaged due to shipping:
- You must report the issue within 48 hours
- Provide photos of the packaging and item
- We will send a replacement free of charge
Damage reported after 48 hours may not qualify.
11. Lost or Missing Warranty Returns
If a warranty item is returned using customer-paid shipping and becomes lost:
- HeyWhiskey is not responsible
- A refund or replacement will not be issued
Always use a trackable shipping method.
12. Fraud Prevention & Misuse Protection
HeyWhiskey reserves the right to deny warranty claims that show:
- Product misuse or intentional damage
- Repeated abuse of warranty benefits
- False claims or manipulated photos
- Items returned switched or not matching original purchase
Fraudulent claims may lead to account restrictions or legal consequences.
