About Us
Some ideas start with a business plan.
Ours started with a glass of whiskey.
Not the loud kind of whiskey night — just a quiet table, a few friends, and the kind of conversation that drifts late into the evening.
Somewhere between the second and the third glass, one of my friends suddenly dropped the news:
"I'm getting married."
And because it was already late, and the whiskey was doing its job, I did what friends sometimes do in moments like that —
I made a promise.
"Then I'll make you the ring."
Not buy one.
Make one.
And a promise like that — even the ones made after three glasses of whiskey — still has to be kept.
Luckily, friends don’t let you face a challenge like that alone.

We went to the workshop and started working with what we had around us — solid metals, tools that had seen years of use, and pieces of beautiful oak from old whiskey barrels.
We experimented, cut, reshaped, and tried again until something finally came together.
And when it did, it was better than we expected.
The wood carried the deep grain and warmth of the barrel.
The metal gave it strength.
And the ring had something more than just materials — it had a story.
That’s the ring he still wears today.
But what surprised us even more was how much we loved the process.
We kept experimenting.
Trying new materials.
Refining the craft.
What started as a promise between friends slowly became something bigger.
That’s how HeyWhiskey was born.
And somehow, all these years later, we’re still doing the same thing we started that night — turning good materials, good stories, and a little bit of whiskey inspiration into things meant to last.
Hey, whiskey.
